Most AI products don't fail because of the models, but because the surrounding system isn't built to support real decisions. At Twinspire, we're building a digital twin platform for individualised athlete modelling in elite football. The modelling is advancing, and the platform is live in pilot environments.
Now the real challenge begins: making the system robust, reliable, and usable in practice.
We're looking for an Engineering Lead to take ownership of the AI-driven data platform that underpins the product. This is a systems role.
You'll be working with messy, multi-source athlete data — aligning it into a consistent, reliable system where correctness, timing, and interpretability matter. The goal is perhaps simple to state, but hard to execute:
turn data and model outputs into something practitioners can trust when making decisions.
You will lead the engineering effort across:
You'll work closely with the CEO & founder, leading the modelling direction, and take full ownership of how that intelligence is operationalised in the product.
Establishing strong practices around:
A senior engineer who:
Bonus if you've worked with:
We believe exceptional products are built by exceptional people. There's often a perceived trade-off between experience and willingness to build. We don't think that's true.
If you're a builder at heart, that doesn't go away — and that's who we're looking for.
We're a young company with ambitious goals, and we focus on making things work.
This is not a research environment, but it is a place for people who take ownership and build systems that actually get used.
We're a small, international team — with people ranging from early 20s to mid-60s.
What we share is simple:
We're based at DTU in Copenhagen, with the flexibility to work from home. We trust people to manage their time, and expect them to take responsibility for what they build.
